The Pacifica Building
A Residential Skyscraper in the heart of Auckland City. A Project managed by Icon Construction. I was part of a team of 2 technicians. And Between the two of us we managed to install all the network, intercom, and tv for the entire building in no more than nine months. A great push through times where future seemed uncertain. When we were reaching the completion of level 28 on this 57 storages skyscraper COVID-19 was announced, and with the help and support of the government and the company we managed to finish the project during the hardest of times. From Beginning To End, all the Networking, the Fiber Optics Backbone for each apartment, and outlets to the final fit-out.
The building has a special place in my heart since i get to see it every time I walk around the city knowing I run, terminated and tested very data outlet of it.
Skills I acquired from this project: Residential Intercom Programming. Project deadlines. Fiber Backbones. Fiber Optics Testing and Commissioning. Wi-Fi deploying and configuring. Security Cameras. IP Cameras Protocols.
